A Little Friendly Rivalry at Jaggard Macland

If you've ever visited our Beaconsfield office at Jaggard Macland, you might have noticed three framed football shirts on the wall of the boardroom.

When we were deciding what to hang in the room, we thought football shirts would be a little more interesting than abstract art. After all, each one tells you something about the Partners behind the business.

Meet the Teams Behind the Partners

Each shirt represents one of our three Partners and the football club they've supported for years:

Three clubs with three rather different footballing experiences!

Simon, Steve and Greg all inherited their football loyalties from their fathers, so the shirts have a bit of personal history behind them. And as any football fan knows, once you've inherited a team, there's rarely any changing your mind.

You stick with them through the good seasons, the bad seasons and those Saturdays when you wonder why you bother.

Some of us have had rather more practice at that than others …

A Talking Point in the Boardroom

We like having something on the wall that reflects the people who work here. The shirts are a little different, and they often give visitors something to comment on.

Of course, supporting three different clubs also means there's plenty of opportunity for a bit of friendly rivalry in the office, particularly when the weekend results haven't gone everyone's way.

So, next time you're visiting our Beaconsfield office, take a look at the shirts - and decide who you feel most sorry for!
