Jaggard Macland working jointly with Acuitus have successfully sold 38 High Street Ruislip on behalf of Bloomsbury Properties Ltd.

"It can be difficult to sell investment property on the high street, especially in the current economic climate. We advised and managed the process of selling this retail investment at auction in order to maximise our clients return on investment on a secondary high street property. The great price achieved at the auction clearly shows there remains good appetite for commercial property investments and the decision to sell at auction - which has its risks - was fully vindicated by the price achieved for our clients, who are very happy with their fantastic result", Simon Harper.

"We are really pleased with the success of this sale of a commercial property at auction, greatly helped by the practical but collaborative approach of Jaggard Macland", Barney Read, Managing Director Bloomsbury Properties Ltd

This retail unit with upper parts was let until 2024 and produced a rental income of £30,500 pa.

Good competition in the auction room meant the freehold sold well in excess of the guide price at £555,000 representing a gross yield of 5.5%.
