Welcoming Matt Clarke to Jaggard Macland
We’re delighted to welcome Matt Clarke, who has joined Jaggard Macland in September 2025 as Director of Property Management.
Extensive and Varied Property Experience
Matt brings a wealth of experience, having managed a wide range of properties during his career. His portfolio includes multi-let offices, industrial estates, and retail premises, as well as more unusual assets such as airport hangars, private jet terminals, oil refineries and fuel distribution pipelines.
As a hands-on property manager, Matt takes pride in balancing the day-to-day tactical activities within his portfolios with the longer-term strategic planning that ensures strong asset performance. He also undertakes acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews and lease renewals, and particularly enjoys working on portfolios that need more intensive, detailed management.
Supporting the Next Generation
Alongside his client work, Matt is a Chartered Surveyor and an RICS Assessor for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). He is passionate about helping the next generation of surveyors and plays an active role in training and preparing future Chartered Surveyors.
A Warm Welcome
“Matt’s appointment is a real boost for our Property Management team,” said Steve Macdermott, Partner at Jaggard Macland. “His wide-ranging experience and hands-on approach mean we can continue to react quickly to client needs, while his enthusiasm for mentoring the next generation is a great fit for our culture. We’re delighted to have him on board.”
Outside of work, Matt is a keen supporter of Wycombe Wanderers and his local village football team. He also enjoys golf (though admits he’s not very good!) and loves to travel both in the UK and further afield. At home, Matt is married and a father of three.
We’re excited to have Matt as part of the Jaggard Macland team and know his expertise will be a real asset to our clients as we continue to grow our Property Management services.
